Awards Ceremonies

Awards Ceremony, 6 p.m. on July 4
AVTEC Gym, 519 4th Ave.

Awards are given in the following categories:

  • The top five men, women, non-binary, junior boys and junior girls will receive plaques. There are no cash prizes. The races winners of each division will also receive a birch stein trophy.
  • Winners of the adult races (men, women and non-binary) will receive complimentary priority entry for life. Winners of the junior races (boys, girls and non-binary) will receive complimentary priority entry for all their junior races.
  • Top five places for each age group will receive medals. For Juniors, this is ages 7-11, 12-14 and 15-17. For men, women and non-binary, this is 18-29, and ten-year increments thereafter.
  • Longevity: individuals that have finished 20, 30, 40 or 50 races receive a plaque with the engraved time of each race the year after they achieve the milestone (so that all times can be added to the plaque).
  • All awards ceremony attendees, whether they raced or not, will receive a free ticket for door prize drawings from event sponsors and other organizations. Winners must be present but do not need to have raced.

Podium Ceremonies in the Finish Pen

In addition to the evening awards ceremony, there will be brief podium awards ceremonies in the Finish Pen for the Top 5 men, women, junior boys and junior girls.
These ceremonies will start about 15 minutes after the fifth-place finisher for each division and give spectators a chance to recognize the award winners.
